I’m actively seeking participants to take part in interviews as part of this research. Photography is something almost everyone today engages in. We all have a Smartphone, handheld camera or video camera and use these to capture every aspect of our lives. In such a visual and recorded environment, does this make a difference to how we behave or react to those around us.

I’m particularly interested to hear from journalists, politicians and police forces who use images in their everyday work, and how these have been affected by the increased availability of images and public involvement in such matters. I’d also be keen to talk to citizen journalists and people who have been involved in breaking news stories, perhaps through recording events as and when they happened.

If you would like to get involved, and would be prepared to take part in an interview please get in touch. To do so, please email me at holly.hancock@uea.ac.uk
